OH GAWD.

Can't believe it.

2 days ago, which is on Thursday, I missed my bus stop cuz I dozed off.

I was nearing my stop but still, i decided to close my eyes for a short short short while, thinking I would still know when I have reached my stop even though my eyes are closed. I was wrong. grrr.

So I alighted one stop away from my destinated stop.

So I had to walk a longer distance and reached home 10 minutes later than usual. -__-

AND yesterday, I actually alighted one stop earlier!!

What was wrong with me???


And alighting one stop earlier was worst.
Cuz the distance was much looooonger. Curses!!

End up I had to walk an extra distance home with my full bladder and empty stomach somemore.

Grrrrrr

First, i missed my stop, then I alighed one stop earlier. Wth is wrong with me??!

Ok anyway, on a brighter note:


Nintendo has come out with a new version of the DS Lite, which is called the DSi (left)

A comparison of the DSi with the DS lite.

The interface looks pretty much the same, except that the screens are 17% bigger than DS lite's. Well, not much difference I guess.
But the small difference leads to reduced battery life. Blah.

Screen resolution is still the same though.




What is new in the DSi is that there is a camera,
a built-in software which allows photo-editing,
SD memory card slot &
music playback.

But the added features seem rather redundant to me. What do I want the puny 0.3 megapixel camera for? Helloooo....I have my handphone's 5 megapixel one thank you.

I am not tempted to convert to a DSi.
Therefore, I am still set on getting my DS LITE!! Woots.

Can't wait to get my hands on it man. =DDD
Have been dreaming of it day and night.
Yes, I am that desperate to get it.

Nowadays the world is so not safe.
Natural disasters, riots, protests etc etc.
Because of all that, my family has decided to call off our plan of going overseas this year (just to play safe).
Oh well, I guess it may be a good thing to stay in our safe Singapore till things get better worldwide, perhaps next year?
Till then, I can continue dreaming of the places I want to go to!!
Korea!! Taiwan!! Japan!! =DD

Korea for the scenery and food.
Taiwan for the food and shopping.
Japan for the ultra-stylo shuai ges and mei nus. HAHA.
Japanese have such a great sense of fashion. And their language is so cool =D

Gosh, i just realised I need to exercise!
After climbing a mere few flights of stairs today, I was panting & actually had diffculities catching my breath! Not to mention sweating lots.
My fren who was with me remarked that I realli need to start exercising.

Hmmm, how long has it been since I last exercised?
2-3 years ago?
Or is running occassionally to catch the bus/when I am late for my tutorials considered as a form of exercise XD
Say yes pls.

I want to change my blog template. Starting to find it quite an eyesore.
But as usual, I am lazy to source for new skins. And even more lazy to change the html of the template. HAHA. Tsk tsk me.
Maybe when my mth plus long hols come, I will perhaps then consider changing my blog skin.


I so want to go shopping & go on kbox dates with my dearies =D.
Not to forget boardgames & wine drinking dates too =D Monopoly, Uno and Risk (hint hint to those who get the hint =P)
BUT I will need to wait till mid-Nov before I am freed from all my work.
Can't wait to change my hp and get my hands on a DS Lite hehe.
I need to stop splurging my money on clothes too. But I just can't control myself whenever I see a pretty dress. (helppp)


The baby on the channel 8 9o'clock show is super duper kawaii la!
Big & expressive eyes with her baby soft skin! So chubby too!
Don't you just feel like cuddling her!!!

BUT one of my friend said that the baby is sooo cute that she feels like kicking her! O_O
Such violent tendencies right! Must not let her come in close contact with any kids in future. (Luckily she is not a teacher or a nurse) HAHA! (You noe who u are =P Btw, she is my looong time buddy. We have been in the same class from Pri 1 up till Poly. We are so fated to be tgt la! Loves her!! =P BUT luckily I have not been influenced by her violent ways. I am still as gentle and nice to kids ok. lol.)

Ok, I am FINALLY updating my blog.
As what qian puts it: my blog is collecting dust. LOL.
And cobwebs.


So what have I been up to for the past week(s)?
Nothing really interesting happened.
I didn't meet David Beckham on the streets.
I didn't become a millionaire overnite.
I didn't go on a trip to Paris/Hollywood.
I didn't get a job as Elvin Ng's personal assistant.
And no, Tia, I did not get hitched suddenly. LOL.


It's just work, work AND more work. Such a dull life.
Reach home ard 8+ everyday. -_____-
I want to have the ability to FLY. So I can reach home faster.
I want to fly. I want to fly! I WANT TO FLYYYY~~
Where are you SUPERMAN?

Ok, so after eating dinner, bathing & resting, I am too tired to go online.
Have been sleeping earlier too.
So that's y I have been MIA on MSN lately.
My beloved granddaughter msged me after not seeing me online for the past wk. =) Such a filial ger. Cares about her ah ma. LOL. Must reward her.


I miss my frens. Feel like having a meet up with them.
What's stopping me then?
Exhaustion? Fatigue? Perhaps.
After all, work drains all of your energy.
You have no life once you start work. How true.

Plus I have just caught the flu bug and it's starting its effect on me: Headache, feeling lethargic easily, running nose, sore throat & slight fever. BLAH!!
Such a terrible feeling.
Flu, flu, get away from me!!!!
I want to be back to my normal self again!!


Wonder if it's cuz of my eating KFC two days ago that caused me to become sick.
It must be. It's all KFC's doing!!

Fastfood ain't good for health I tell u.
I must swear off fastfood. I must.

Results of final sem were released at 12am at the stroke of midnight.

WOOTS.

Grades were unexpected, totally unexpected in a positive way of course.

Such a pleasant surprise!!!!! =DDDDDDDDDD WHEE~~~~~~

After this, it made me even more affirmative in my belief that everything happens for a reason & that fate plays a big role in almost everything.


Upon seeing my results, I was so thrilled that I became overexcited & couldn't sleep till about 2++am.

WAHAHAHAHA.

At that particular moment, I really felt like screaming my lungs out in joy!! But I had to constraint myself if I do not want to be whacked by my sis.
Wanted to dance.
Wanted to hug & kiss everyone.
Wanted to sing at the top of my voice.

I think the joy must be getting to my head. LOL.

SO HAPPY CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The official start of my work.
No more rotting at home. HAHA.

 - The ONE strikes again - ;

Went out with SAP-ians today.
HEHE.
But not in full strength as some could not make it.

So that leaves only me, Dawn, Huifen & Kkaa who were free today.
Met up at AMK hub. Time to meet was 1230.

End up I was the earliest to reach!! Must xuan yao abit. muaHAHA.

Kkaa said he would be late, so the three of us gers went into NYNY to wait for him. We sat in the restaurant & chatted first, without placing any orders.

Waiters after waiters kept approaching us to ask if we would like to place our orders. But being nice ppl, we said no as we wanted to wait till Kkaa came before we ordered our food.


There was this one cuteeee waiter LA. He came up to us to ask for our orders & when I said: "Later can? Cuz we are still waiting for a particular SOMEONE. SOMEONE LATE LA. Tsk tsk tsk. (in mock annoyance) ", he replied: "Wa, that person gonna die LA. Make three gers wait."


At first he thought it was a "she".


HAHA. When he realised that the person who was late was a "he", he immediately said: "When he comes later, I will feed him with candle wax!! So that he wun dare to be late nxt time. And give the bill to him! Make him pay!!! MUAHAHA"


So end up when Kkaa arrived about one hour plus later, the same waiter came up to us to take our orders. HAHA.


He was giving this sly smile & asked Kkaa in mock sarcasm: "Wa, finally come. How can make 3 gers wait? And why u late? (while giving that Ah beng look) "


BUT kkaa skillfully dodged the qns LA.
Ok, not dodged. Kkaa IGNORED what the poor waiter said & just went on to place his order. -___- The waiter so ke lian. Got the cold shoulder.


Huifen, Dawn & me shared a Seafood platter while Kkaa ordered Spring Chicken (if I rmbered correctly).

WA. The Seafood platter came in a serving so huge that even we 3 gers cannot finish. There were raw salmon slices, fried sotong, fried fish, a whole cold crab & sth else which I cannot rmb off hand.


The poor crab was left untouched as neither of us gers want to dirty our hands by shelling the crab. So typical of gers rite. HAHA.


But Kkaa could not bear to see the poor crab being left on the plate. So, he shelled the crab for us, while at the same time not forgetting to preach to us about how the kids in Africa are starving & how it is that wasting food is a big no-no.


So honoured that got emperor personally shell crab for us!! LOL.

Oh ya, forgot to intro:

Kkaa is my son.
I am his mother.
Huifen is my granddaughter.
I am her ah ma.
Dawn is my daughter-in-law aka one of Kkaa's many wifes.
I am her kind & lovely mother-in-law. HAHA.
Kkaa is the "self-proclaimed" emperor.
So that makes me the Empress Dowager?
And Dawn is considered one of Kkaa's concubines? XD

LOL.
Ok, complicated relationship I know. WAHAHA.


So after lunching at NYNY, we went to buy movie tickets.
Guessed what we watched?
Rule #1. OMG.

Horror movie can!! So not my type of movie!!


Initially, I violently rejected the idea of watching it but later, I realised that there ain't any other good movies showing out there except Step Up 2(which I have already watched before).

The rest of the screening movies also did not seem to get good reviews & among all of them, it seemed like Rule #1 scored better reviews from the critics.

Plus the rest wants to watch Rule #1.

PLUS, got SHAWN YUE starring in the movie!! Handsome can!! WAHAHA.
It ain't everyday that u get a hunk starring in a horror movie.
Needless to say, the only eye candy in the movie~~LOL.

And my dear son decided to treat us all to the movie to "redeem his sin for being late". WAHAHA.
Morale of story: Never be late. LOL.

So I went along.

If not because of those reasons above, I doubt anyone will never catch me in a cinema watching horror movies.
What for pay to scare yourself right. Seriously not worth it.

Ok, so after purchasing the movie tickets, the bunch of us went to arcade to play as the movie will not be starting till about an hour later.
Met up with Ms Kwa there where she joined us for a short while.


The game we played the most was Datona LA.

I had wanted to play this particular game there but it was not available at the arcade which we went to. So sad.=((

Dawn so pro in Datona. She came in first for all the times which we competed.
Made Kkaa sad. Cuz he got driving license & Dawn dun have.
BUT end up Dawn keep winning him in the driving game. So ironic rite. HAHA.


Went to catch the movie at 5pm.
Wa, I was so scared la.
FIRST time watching horror movie in cinema ok.
Apart from final destination 3. (if that's considered a horror movie)


Scared that suddenly got gross image appear on the HUGE cinema screen.
Scared of the sudden loud & creepy sound effect that accompanies almost every horror movie. (To make things worst, cinema surround sound somemore wor!!)


Anyways, throughout the movie, my hands were busy.
Busy covering my ears & eyes every now & then should I predict that something scary is coming up. HAHA.

As such, I did not eat much popcorn.

But despite my covering my eyes & ears once in a while, I still know what is going on LA.


The storyline is not bad although it was abit exaggerated in some parts. But there was a nice & unexpected twist to the end.

Another important thing about the movie: Got SHAWN YUE with his mesmerizing eyes!! LOL.

Went to AMK's library cafe to chill later.

Chatted & chatted till about 9pm where we headed to the hawker centre to grab something to eat.
We gers ate soupy food.
Kkaa ate prawn noodles + oyster omelette AND yet he still complained: "Eat as if never eat. Still hungry." O_o

From his built, it can't be seen that he has a huge appetite. Perhaps it is as what zihui said: All the food & nutrient goes to the brain. LOL.

Then my filial son drove us home. HEHE.


And so wasted!! We actually forgot to take picts!!!!!
Earlier on, we had wanted to but later, dunno y, it slipped everyone's mind.
=((((( SADDED.


But it was a fun day nevertheless~~~

SAP ppl rocks!!! HAHAHAHAHA. We are VIBRANT!! Full of life!!
